Your wedding day should feel completely yours, and the food and drink should be part of that story.

At Gorcott Hall, you can create a bespoke wedding menu for the whole day, from canapés and welcome drinks through to your wedding breakfast, evening food, wine and late-night snacks. Working closely with our head chef, you’ll shape a menu that reflects your tastes, your guests and the kind of celebration you want to have.

We care deeply about choice, quality and the little details that make the day feel personal. We use local suppliers wherever practical and work carefully with our catering team, food suppliers and drinks partners to make sure everything is served beautifully.

THE TASTING SESSION

Once you and chef have settled on some ideas for your wedding breakfast, we'll invite you over for a relaxed and intimate tasting session. We'll serve you up your chosen selection of each course. You'll get to sample from our fantastic selection of quality wines. Oh, and the bar is open but the tills are closed! Treat it as a pre-wedding date!

THE AFTERNOON RECEPTION

Relax! You're married!

Time now to meet and greet all those who mean the most to you. We'll serve everyone a welcome drink; feel free to express yourselves here, if you've got a cocktail which is special to you, we'll happily do all the research to get them just perfect and wow your guests.

Choose from our fabulous choice of canapés - if the weather is kind we'll serve these in our manicured gardens. Our amazing sound system will provide the soundtrack to your afternoon, with the playlist chosen by you if that's your thing.

Plenty of time to enjoy the scenery while getting those all important group shots out of the way. Our bar will be open (outside if the weather lets us), and you can set up some garden games to keep the little ones (and the young at heart) occupied.

TO THE BARN

After a relaxed afternoon, your guests will be seated for the wedding breakfast in our spectacular Wedding Barn.

Fully refurbished in 2024, the barn blends exposed brickwork, original oak beams and airy modern comfort. It is rustic, elegant and full of atmosphere.

Your tables will be beautifully laid, with glassware, crockery, linen and charger plates included as standard. We’ll introduce you into the room to cheering, applause and the song of your choice.

WEDDING BREAKFAST IN THE BARN

After the wedding breakfast, it's time for those oh so important speeches. We'll charge everybody's glass, and introduce each speechmaker for you. We'll have planned the timings meticulously in advance, so that there's no lull in proceedings between the speeches and the beginning of the evening party. We'll fire up the "now you see it, now you don't" dance floor for that all important first dance, and then we can all feel the barn come alive as the sun goes down and the energy levels go up.

Our fantastic, fully stocked bar is in the barn. Perfectly poured draught beers from the likes of Birra Moretti, Beavertown Neckoil, Inch's Cider and Cruzcampo will help quench the inevitable thirst. We're passionate about keeping our prices sensible too - you'll be surprised and delighted to know that our bar tariff is more like your local pub than a typical wedding venue.
