LET'S GET MARRIED
Gorcott Hall provides the perfect setting for the Civil Ceremony itself. First, spend a relaxed morning preparing in the sumptuous Bridal Gown Suite which really has to be seen to be believed,
We then have a choice of licensed rooms to choose from, or, weather permitting, we can marry you on The Courtyard, surrounded by centuries old buildings and manicured gardens.
The intimate atmosphere of the magnificent Sitting Room, where Queen Elizabeth I enjoyed afternoon tea 450 years ago, has no equal.
For larger gatherings, we have the rustic early 20th Century Barn with exposed brick walls and original oak beams.

If you're looking for a more traditional ceremony, there are a number of beautiful churches nearby. We'll see you off from the Gown Suite and be ready to welcome you back as a married couple!
PREPARATION...
Tradition dictates that you don't get to see each other before the ceremony. So, only one of you gets to use the amazing 300 square feet of Gown Suite loveliness. We'll let you two fight it out to see who gets to spend their morning in the lap of luxury,....

We could rattle on about all the features we've incorporated here - twin showers, underfloor heating, your very own kitchen area (the Prosecco is in the fridge, and it's on us), integrated sound system, gorgeous furnishings, makeup and hair stations, private access for your suppliers...Oh, and did we mention that there's a beautifully lit, mirrored stage for you to show your dress off on? No? Well there is. Yours from 9:00AM on the big day (earlier by prior agreement).
If the weather is kind, what better way to tie the knot than in our ancient courtyard?
Grand historic buildings and manicured gardens surround this very special space, but all eyes will be on you, the beautiful couple tying the knot under our ceremony area.
Even the walk from the Gown Suite to the 'alter' is breathtaking. Through a 200 year old archway, down an aisle lined each side with your guests (all of whom are pretending they have something in their eye), while your special song plays over our no expense spared sound system.

With all the important players discretely miked up, everyone gets to hear you say "I do".
Don't worry if the weather is against us - we always have a Plan B (we'll have worked this out together long before the big day). We can make the call in the morning while you're getting ready.
LET'S GO OUTSIDE. THE COURTYARD
THE SITTING ROOM. MAKE YOUR OWN HISTORY
The intimacy and atmosphere of a ceremony in our grand Sitting Room has to be experienced to be believed. That 'hairs on the back of your neck' feeling as you tie the knot in a room which has been entertaining guests (including royalty) since 1535. With a maximum capacity of 70 (including the registrars, a Gorcott team member and your photographers). If you've got a larger daytime guest list, don't worry - we can accommodate 100 guests in the Wedding Barn or The Courtyard
THE BARN.
RUSTIC SPLENDOUR
The early 20th Century barn, just a stone's throw from the main hall, is a fantastic ceremony space for those with a larger guest list (up to 100 seated comfortably). Original beams dominate, interspersed with spectacular lighting. Exposed brick walls supporting the vaulted ceilings. With views to die for through the full width bifold patio doors, your ceremony will live long in the memory of those lucky enough to be there to see you say "I do".
TAKE ME TO CHURCH
We are very lucky to have stunning churches just minutes from us here. There's the quaint Church of the Holy Ascension just half a mile down the road from us. Or the hilltop splendour of St Leonard's in the nearby village of Beoley. St. Mary's Catholic Church resides in the heart of Studley village, around 3 miles from Gorcott Hall.

We'll be sad that we didn't get to see you exchange vows, but we'll be at the ready to start the celebrations with you on your return!
